50 Color Kinetics
2 MDG smoke machines (“machine a boucane” in local speak)
1 Sky Tracer

Plain-chant opening tonight

First run of our Plain-chant interactive light installation in Ottawa, CA, for the 400th anniversary of the passing by of Samuel de Champlain – a french explorer – .

The voice of the audience is analysed and converted into moving light figures, thanks to our custom made softwares.

Perspective Lyrique in Neuchatel

We’ll be showing Perspective Lyrique in Neuchatel / CH this week.
From 22nd to 24th May April.

This time we’re displaying to 3 outputs, sending a massive 3072*1100 texture from our custom app to MadMapper, at 60FPS.
The show is still controlled by Ableton Live.

Running via a custom QCapp + custom plugins, connected to Ableton Live for audio playback and realtime analysis.
Projected using 4x Christies R20k beamers.

Perspective Lyrique / Headbuilding

And finally the headmap applied on the 3d model, morphing-ready. The audience will be able to sing a few phonemes in realtime, and also a few expressions, like fear, smile or anger. I’m eager to see the end result projected on the building, as there’s a chance it might look like crap. Pertinent video mapping is always difficult to achieve.
